 The publication analyses important principles, lessons learned and good practices for developing climate change adaptation strategies in basin or transboundary context. It draws on the experience of UNECE pilot projects, the UNECE/INBO global network of basins and numerous other organizations and initiatives. The 58 case studies and 63 lessons learned presented in the publication cover a variety of subjects, such as legal frameworks for adaptation in transboundary basins, information and data needs, impact and vulnerabilitys assessment, developing and prioritizing adaptation measures, financing, evaluation, communication, capacity-buiding and stakehoder involvement.
The publication will be available in French and Russian later this year.
