The World Water Forum (WWF) is a major international event dedicated to a wide range of water-related issues. It has been organised every three years since 1997 by the World Water Council, in partnership with the host country.
It has four main objectives:
– to raise the profile of water on the political agenda
– to discuss solutions to the water problems of the 21st century
– formulate concrete proposals and bring them to the attention of the world,
– generate strong political commitment.
INBO and its members organise or take part in plenary sessions, sessions and workshops on a wide variety of topics related to integrated water resource management at the level of river basins, such as governance, planning, financing and so on.
INBO presents and mobilises around its advocacy initiatives.
