Action plan, strategy, operation, events, manuals: discover all the activities of the International Network of Basin Organizations in its new report!
The International Network of Basin Organisations (INBO) has published its 2022-2024 activity report. Since its creation in 1994, INBO has worked to strengthen the capacities of basin organisations, promote transboundary cooperation and implement the principles of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) throughout the world.
Main achievements 2022-2024
During this period, INBO focused its efforts on key strategic areas:
- Water Information Systems (WIS)
- Adaptation to climate change
- Strengthening governance and cross-border cooperation
- Strengthening institutional partnerships and sharing knowledge
- Developing citizen participation
- Dialogue between cities and basins
- Strengthening the interaction between water management, economic activities and environmental protection
INBO has strengthened all of its strategic axes through concrete actions: drafting manuals, organising and participating in international events, launching innovative initiatives, partnerships, and joining collaborative working groups.
