The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and The World Water Council, are thrilled to invite you to the Kick-off Meeting and 1st Stakeholders’ Meeting of the 11th World Water Forum. This crucial event will take place from April 14th to 15th, 2025, at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“A Call to Action for a Better Tomorrow”
The 11th World Water Forum, scheduled for March 22-28, 2027, in Riyadh, will address all related issues around the overarching theme “Action For A Better Tomorrow.” This theme underscores the urgent need for immediate and concerted efforts to correct the unsustainable trajectory of global water management. The World needs decisive action, to avoid intensifying water-related challenges and jeopardizing the well-being of current and future generations.
Objectives of the Kick-off Meeting
This gathering is the 1st step to facilitate discussions between stakeholders on thematic, regional, and political priorities, with a strong focus on delivering practical solutions.
The Kick-off Meeting also provides participants with essential information about the Forum’s framework and engagement opportunities in the preparatory process.
The preparatory process of the 11th World Water Forum involves meticulous planning, theme selection, and sub-theme identification. The kick-off and 1st Stakeholders meeting in April 2025 is a pivotal moment in this process, inviting stakeholders to contribute concretely to the Forum’s success.
